Java Software Engineer
OPPORTUNITY:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Java developer to work in a highly technical, fast paced & agile environment, with a remit to deliver innovative solutions to the Mobile Telecoms industry worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a key member of the solutions team, a java software engineer is expected to:
- review high level & functional designs and provide feedback to the solution architects
- implement user stories, requirements, features and change requests,
- cooperate with test engineers on daily basis to deliver high quality solutions,
- provide support teams with training and documentation to enable post live support.
- work with support teams to solve production services issues.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:
- knowledge and understanding of servlet API,
- knowledge of lightweight Java EE stack with focus on Spring Framework,
- understanding of HTTP protocol,
- skills and experience with Linux/Unix environment – best if used daily,
- test driven development skills.
- Mobile standards – MMS, SMS, Mobile Web / WAP – (Preferred but not essential).
- Mobile Application Experience – iOS, Blackberry, Android, Symbian, Windows Phone (Preferred but not essential)
- Documentation skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills
