Derek Tobin
CTO Americas
Derek joined Sentaca in 2010 with 15 years of experience in the Telco world working with companies such as Aldiscon, Logica and Anam. Derek’s career has been distributed through Europe, Asia and the Americas. Based in Boston Massachusetts, Derek’s experience includes time spent developing satellite based telephony systems with Motorola Satcom/Iridium and also time consulting to Tier 1 carriers including AT&T and NTT Docomo in Japan on their messaging systems. Derek represented LogicCMG at a number of standards bodies including 3GPP and was key in the development of the GAIT (GSM ANSI-41 Roaming Team) standard, supporting the roaming of TDMA subscribers to and from GSM. Derek left Logica in June 2003 to join ANAM where his most recent role was VP of Technology for the America’s where he was responsible for the messaging product suite in the region along with all technological activities in the America’s. Derek left ANAM at the end of 2009 to join Sentaca in 2010. |
Ryan Pump
GM of Canada
Ryan joined Sentaca in 2007 and has 9 years of experience in the Telco industry.
Prior to joining Sentaca, Ryan worked with 724 Solutions in Europe, Asia & the Americas providing engineering & support services to Tier-1 customers & partners worldwide, including Sprint, AT&T, Telefonica, China Unicom & Nokia. Ryan has a solid technology background focused primarily in wireless data services including browsing and messaging platforms.
Since joining Sentaca, Ryan has been focused on extending Sentaca’s track record of success and bringing it into the Canadian marketplace. |
Jane Walker
Head of HR
Jane joined Sentaca in 2006, with what was already a long and full career as a HR expert within the mobile & telecoms industry. Before joining Sentaca, Jane held a series of leading HR roles within FLAG telecom, O2 and BT including the position of head of HR for BT HQ where she led a team of business partners and handled the outsourcing of 500 accounting and financial services people.
Jane’s wide experience in both large and small companies enables her to deal pragmatically with a range of issues, and she has transformed the HR function within Sentaca since she joined. A Corporate Member of the CIPD, Jane continues to network with former colleagues and contacts throughout the industry. |
Peter Fitzpatrick
VP Business Dev EMEA
Peter has recently joined Sentaca as VP of Business Development to help drive the expansion of the services, consulting and solutions business in the EMEA region. Peter is a veteran within the telecoms industry and has previously worked as CEO AlTion, COO Muni-Pay Technologies, Director Ossidian Technologies and Business Development Manager with Aldiscon/Logica and Equiendo.
With a track record in providing innovative value added solutions in a number of areas including Customer Care & Billing, Network Management/Optimisation, Telematics, Mobile Payments and Managed Services, Peter will spear-head direct marketing and sales in addition to working with third party providers and channel partners to acquire and maintain successful accounts in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. |
