Management Team

Neil Gallagher - CEO

Neil, the founder of Sentaca has 15 years experience in the mobile & telco industry. Neil’s technical excellence of Messaging & Mobile Networks was recognised immediately in his first position with Aldiscon who in turn promoted him to the position of messaging consultant across Europe, Asia & the North America. Neil subsequently moved to the UK and on to more Senior Technical Roles in companies such as BT Cellnet & O2. Neil’s deep technical knowledge is well matched by his understanding of the mobile & telco industry which has enabled him to not only found but continue to grow a very successful & dynamic company. Sentaca is going into its 8th year of operation and now spans Ireland, the UK & North America.

Dave Signorelli - COO
Dave joined the founder at the inception of Sentaca in 2000 and was a key player in the evolution of Sentaca. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Mobile Telco space initially specialising in Sentaca’s outsourced services predominantly around SMS/MMS. Dave has developed a great deal of experience working in O2-UK and Vodafone UK within both the core network and VAS arena. He has more recently been involved in several high profile projects within Vodafone UK. Dave has a wide-ranging background in Electronic Engineering and Microwave Technologies prior to Sentaca.

Phil Cheetham – CTO
Phil joined Sentaca in 2005 with a wealth of experience in Mobile & Telco from companies such as BT, Nokia and O2, across Europe & the Asia Pac. Phil has always been at the forefront of mobile technology innovation, developing and influencing mobile services, their supporting application infrastructures & their unique delivery. In Nokia Australia, Phil was instrumental in the design, development & launch of the Future Lab an innovation in the way products & services are validated and tested over GPRS. Just before joining Sentaca, Phil’s position as Head of Development within O2 saw him turn around the delivery mechanisms and architectures for challenging projects such as the Big Brother mobile services campaign. Phil’s hands on approach and deep architectural & technical knowledge yielded consistently on time, high quality delivery.

Phil O’Neill – CCO
Phil joined Sentaca in February of 2007 to help build a Sentaca business in the Americas. Phil has been at the forefront of the emergence of wireless data technology since its introduction to the telecoms market in 1992. Phil held key technical and managerial positions with Aldiscon in Dublin before moving to America in late 1997. As Logica’s Vice President for Technical Operations in the Americas, Phil recovered a disenchanted customer base and failing business. In 2000, Phil became Executive Vice president/General Manager for Logica’s mobile product business in the Americas. From 2000 to 2003, Phil grew Logica’s product business in the US from revenues of $16M to revenues of $52M. Phil left Logica in 2003 and co-founded Anam Mobile. A startup business focused on addressing new opportunities in the SMS messaging market. Phil left Anam in late 2006 to join Sentaca.
